In this Queen Anne home, the clients--eagerly anticipating the arrival of their little ones--envisioned a nursery that balanced timeless tradition with a touch of whimsey.  Enter Blend Interior Design Studio entrusted with bringing that vision to life by creating a space imbued with charm and imagination.

Guided by the concept of classic elegance meeting the fantastical, we curated a color palette of mustard, black, white, and soft gray.  The design found its anchor early on with the discovery of Zoffany's Frefly wallpaper, whose enchanting motif set the tone for the entire room.  To enhance depth and visual interest, we introduced wall molding, adding architectural character that complemented the space's historic roots.

Texture and pattern played a central role in creating a tactile, engaging environment. A plus, fluffy rug offered comfort and warmth underfoot, while striped roman shades introduced a lighthearted rhythm to the windows.  Our art search led us to Berkley Illustrations, where we selected whimsical animal portraits that echoed the room's playful spirit.  These pieces, paired with the carefully considered palette, added a final layer of delight and personality.

The result is a nurturing retreat where tradition and imagination co-exist--a magical haven for little ones to dream, grow, and feel at home.
